I am a "freestyle photographer," which means that I traditionally direct a session, suggest poses, but I make these poses and sessions look natural by adding a touch of photojournalism.
The "freestyle" style is what makes me very happy. I have developed a sense for working with people, intuition for taking photos during an event, the ability to work with a camera, and knowing when to shoot. You can't apply the same formula to every wedding or session, as each couple is so different. I discreetly observe and wait for the opportunity. Even though I go to the same location several times, I look for new angles, spaces, and offer different photos. That is my most important challenge because it's not about taking the same photo for every bride.
